BATTLES: MY DREAM! TO THE VICTOR GO THE SPOILS
(to all who face incredible odds and are afraid; fear not, God is with you!)
Recently I woke from a dream that had a series of scenes within it. Each one had huge fierce battles going on with what appeared to be a dark force that manifested itself like nature of some sort; whether it was extreme storms or whatever, intuitively I knew they were forces of unseen power raging against me in each battle and I had no choice but to stand and fight against each one ALONE, tearing things down and decreeing things as they should be in the name of YAHWEH, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and the Father of Y'shua/Jesus, the Messiah.
Each battle was fiercer than the one before it and with each battle I had no choice but to address it face to face; though at times I was deeply afraid. Just after I thought I had won the victory, the final battle came and it was the most intense of them all.
Suddenly in the distance I could hear the sound of hooves thundering on the ground, beating like drums as they charged towards me. I started to run as I could see this dark warhorse arrayed for battle running towards me with great speed and determination.
Even after all I'd just been through I was now deeply afraid... a feeling of dread and doom came over me! This horse was like none I'd ever seen... tremendous in power. Its eyes were like fire and its nostrils enflamed as they violently pulsed with each breath, drops of sweat and blood dripping from them being flung into the air as he thundered.
I knew I couldn't outrun him. But just then, suddenly, I felt this great power come over me. I stopped and turned around to face this dread rushing towards me.
As I stood there, he ran right over me... he literally passed right through me as I reached up and grabbed ahold of his mane and with all my might I pulled this giant beast down to the ground. With a tremendous exhale from its lungs, it hit the ground with a violent force as above me thunder and lightening roared.
Kneeling down over its monstrous head, I boldly leaned all the way down until I looked straight into its bulging eye and said, "I have all authority and power over you... today, you are mine"! To the victor go the spoils.
I instantly awoke sweating with my heart pounding saying the Name of God out loud... suddenly I heard these words like a proverb spoken to me in my head:
"You must never turn and run
For battles are only won
When you face what you face,
Whatever you face...
Facing it head on!"
